Day 2

It was freezing cold, about 5 degrees low. We all wore thicker layers ‘cause we had a bad experience last night, when we were all caught unprepared in a cold night. Assembled at the lobby and was brought around the campus:

there's a heater in our class room, so it'll be super cozy during lesson! :D

visited the staff room and saw ms wong, so we took a group photo with her.

After which, we headed to the campus canteen for brunch as lessons were cancelled. The canteen is much bigger than ours in Ngee Ann, probably 10 times bigger. But it was super smoky inside, and it was filled with lots of students. In campus, they use a card similar to our ezlink card system to buy food. Oh, and the food is really really cheap!

i ordered a bowl of "shou gong mian" for only 2rmb! HEH!

this is the card reader that deducts money from the students card.

After eating, we headed back to our rooms to put our pencil cases and stuffs. Not long after we reached our room, Wu Di & Zi Wei came knocking our room. They were really nice and caring enough to buy me medicine as they noticed I had sore throat during our first meeting at day 1.

Since lessons were cancelled, then it’s shopping time!!! ;D  We contacted Li Ying and asked her to bring us to a nearest shopping mall to get thermal wear ‘cause we didn’t have enough warm clothes and it was freezing cold. So we took a bus and headed to Shopping Mall, the name of the mall was really “Shopping Mall”. LOL! Then we met up with Zi Wei and Wu Di to have dinner together.

Reflection:

After visiting the canteen, i think Ngee Ann should also try to implement the card payment method as it's rather useful and systematic. & i realized that although many people who've been to China said that everything is VERY CHEAP, i feel it's only the food that is freaking cheap. other than that, the price is quite similar to what it is in Singapore.
