Day 12

Woke up at 8am today and attended IS lesson again. Lesson was on China’s geography, population, tourists’ sites, and popular foods. Not as boring as the previous lesson thought, ‘cause we had more pictures to see. But now, I got to know something more about Wuhan, which has about a population of 9,100,000. Ms Grace then introduced us to Wuhan’s popular tourists’ sites: Yellow Crane Tower (黄鹤), East Lake (), Hubei Provincial Museum (省博物), Lute Platform (古琴), Jiqing Street (吉庆), Riverside(). To date, we’ve only been to黄鹤and古琴 but next week we’ll be going to the 3 Gorges. :)

that's Ms Grace you see in the pic. :)

upon ending the lesson, she told us there was a new "hu bu xiang" nearby along 建设二路. and that most local delicacies could be found there.

We stayed back in class to discuss on our project for Project Management after our IS lesson ended at 11.15am. After which, we went back to our dorms to take our laundries for washing. Then, Mei Xiu and I went out for a walk. We ended up shopping like crazy, so I shall not elaborate on that. HAHA! But the 1hr bus ride back sucked, ‘cause it was super squeezy!

Reflection:

After taking the public bus for so many times, I finally understand why I occasionally see PRCs board the bus from the back in Singapore. That’s because they have this culture and habit to board the bus from the back when the bus is full and that they can’t board from the front. I used to get irritated and annoyed with them when I witness it, as they wouldn’t have to pay the bus fare.
