Day 18

Once again, breakfast at 6.30am and the food prepared were exactly the same! I really didn’t like it so I sat at the table for the sake of attendance and then went up to our room shortly. It was time to bid farewell to our “cruise”, the Golden Sun. we took our luggage and assembled in the lobby and checked out at 7am.

our first comfy bed throughout the OIP trip, bye bye! :((

Next stop was the Three Gorges Dam Project Centre. Everyone had to go through a scanning system before entering. Free time was given to us to roam about and I went off with my group members to take some group photos!

this giant storybook reminds me of some fairytale, so cool!

that's the dam, there're 2 lanes. one in, the other one out.

that's the humongous tractor that built the freaking huge dam! really huge indeed!

we first thought that was some horse or praying mantis, but Ms Neo smiled and said: "its actually the boat trackers." HAHAHAHA!

and before we left, we saw this:

their very own "HFC"! well, its the fake KFC to us!

When we got back to our hostel, we hurried back with our collected laundries, and went out for dinner with Ms Neo. We had western food, and the serving was huge to me. And so, we strolled back to our hostel with Ms Neo. It was chilling at night and was quite cold so once we reached our WARM room; I washed up and went to bed. Haha!

Reflection:I was appalled by the structure and system of the dam, as it is the world’s largest electricity generating plant and also the largest dam. I doubt i'll ever see such "thing" in Singapore, for it'll be useless since Singapore is as tiny as a dot!
