Day 5

First day of lesson, I feel so restless and sleepy. Maybe was the medicine’s fault that I keep falling asleep in class. Oh, and the weather was SUPER DUPER COLDDDDD!!! I reckon it was less than 5 degrees, and I was shivering. Luckily we had a heater in the classroom, so it wasn’t that bad.

It was snowing tiny flakes on our way back to the hostel, but it become bigger and the temperature became lower I guess. Tee li was so excited, she ran out and tried to catch the snow like a small kid. Haha! We all went along and took some photos. It’s been really long since I last experienced snow. :D

Reflection:

The students’ dressing here aren’t as thick as how we dress, probably because we’re too used to the hot weather in Singapore and not quite prepared for the winter and low temperature. I realise that they still feel cold despite wearing lesser than us, but they’re used to the coldness unlike us. We would scream and “siam” the wind, but they just walk casually. This is the difference between the people living in a country with only summer throughout 4 seasons and the people living in a country with all 4 seasons.
