Day 20 & 21

Day 20:

PM lessons as usual from 9-4pm, but Ms Neo taught us a new chapter called PERT. This chapter isn’t very difficult but tedious instead, as we had to draw BOXES, calculate and find the probability. It’s rather similar to what we’ve learnt in year 1 (QLA). After which, we went for our break and it was VERY COLD out there!!!! Today’s temperature was about 7 degrees and we look like we’re smoking when we’re talking (that means it’s too cold that mists are coming out!). But then again, I’m still enjoying the weather ‘cause I know we’ll never have the chance experiencing this kind of weather in Singapore!

We didn’t go out to shop (miraculously!!) and stayed near the school instead. And because we’re all too used to wearing “lesser” clothes I Singapore, when we walked in our casual home clothes, everyone was staring at us like aliens once again! Some of the locals like the laundry lady and the shop keepers would always ask the same question in mandarin: “aren’t u guys cold wearing just this with SLIPPERS?” and we’d always reply them with the same old “okay la”. It was dinner time but I stayed in the room instead of eating out with the rest ‘cause I wasn’t feeling well and feeling a little home sick.

Day 21:

Felt sooooooo unwell and uncomfortable today! :( Vomited about 5 times since last night? Didn’t have any appetite to eat and so I stayed in our dorm alone after lesson (it ended early again) while the others went out. Just felt so home sick and teared a little, probably because I wasn’t feeling well AT ALL! At least I got to practice some questions for tomorrow’s PM written test, and uploaded/ updated my blog (sadly managed to post up to day 10 only) because the internet connection was showing some sympathy on me.

Reflection:

Till date, I still love the foods at the back street, but I STILL think the food here are a little too oily, too spicy. I know that’s their way of eating, so I’m still trying hard to accommodate to that. All the best to me! :)
