Day 22
Our one and only WRITTEN TEST is here! Well, at least for this whole OIP trip eh? I felt I didn’t study nor revise much as Ms Neo said it’ll be mostly calculations. & yea, mostly calculations but I think I screwed one question real bad. :(
Anyhow, Ms Neo released us early again after the paper. I felt much better after a long rest yesterday, so we headed out to Grand Ocean for you-know-what again! This time, Mei Xiu and I took a bus with Meow Lin and Co.
Oh yea, I did a haircut at Yes I Do! :D I actually saw Rebecca (from the previous OIP batch) mentioned in her blog that she did her hair there too. Guess what?! Just a simple haircut, with hair wash (plus massage), hair conditioning, blowing (as if I’m gonna attend some wedding dinner), it only costs 25RMB! It was actually 50rmb but I got their membership card on the spot, ‘cause I intend to perm (the most expensive chemical used is only about 298rmb without membership card?) my hair again before I leave for Singapore! I reckon we can never find such good service, nice interior, super friendly people, and not to mention the super duper low rate in Singapore (I personally feel it’s much better than Jean Yip’s)! So, to the next batch of OIP students, don’t do anything to your hair before you come to Wuhan! HAHAHAHA!
After a long day, we finally made our way back. All of us practically fell asleep in the bus!
Reflection:
After cutting and washing my hair her in Yes I Do, Wuhan, and after comparing so many different things with Singapore, i realized that we have a different defination of 'money' and 'service' as compared to the people in China. a service we deemed good or near perfect that we have to pay a sum to enjoy, might be seemed as something very natural and cheap here in Wuhan.
