Day 41 -HOME SWEET HOME!

The day we’ve been longing in finally here! Woohoo!! I couldn’t believe 1.5 months/6 weeks/42 days passed so fast, just like that! I remember hesitating so long whether to join the 4th batch OIP or not, and before I know it, I’m done with the 6 weeks in Wuhan. And I’ve definitely enjoyed myself much despite some homesick moments.

So, keys had to be returned by 7am and we were told to meet at the entrance of our hostel by 8am with our luggage and what not, then slowly get everyone’s luggage up the bus. Some local students were there to send us of, and they helped carry the luggage up the bus. We were like some celebrities leaving that so many people were looking, even the back street food vendors. Oh, and I bought my last meal (XIAO LONG BAO!) from the back street before we got on the bus.

this will be the last time we see this back door. :(

and the school "mama shop".

a group of local students and teachers came to send us off. and i felt like crying upon looking at some of our friends tearing. :(

Then, we’re on our way to the airport.

MY LUGGAGE WEIGHED 29.2kg! HAHAHA! i did it! :D

as our flight from Wuhan to Guang Zhou was delayed, we weren't able to catch our flight from Guang Zhou back to Singapore. there was a little commotion when we arrived at Guang Zhou, but was later solved and the flight to Singapore was dalayed! for the first time ever, the airplane really waits! HAHA! thats because more than half of the plane was empty as there were ALOT of Ngee Ann students apart from MDE and ECE, there was EE students too!

the whole swamp of Ngee Ann students waiting to know the outcome of the delay:

Finally, it was already 11plus when we arrived at Changi Airport!

Reflection:

Throughout this 6 weeks, i've learnt alot and much more than what i came to Wuhan wanting to learn and experience about. too much to say, but i'll definately miss this OIP trip that brought me much laughter. :) and i would STRONGLY ENCOURAGE those who havent joined, to join the next batch of OIP to have your own experience! :D
